Ms. Kayla E. Cameron, 17 ,of Lillington,NC, passed on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at her residence.

Kayla was born in Sanford, North Carolina, on the 25th of August 1995. Kayla died on the 11th of April 2013 in Lillington, North Carolina. She was a senior attending Western Harnett High School. She loved to have and care for animals, enjoyed art, and participating in sports and extra-curricular activities at school. Kayla was known for her funny sense of humor, her gorgeous smile and playful laughter. She had an unwavering commitment attending Jr. Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) throughout her entire four-years of High School. Kayla was a true leader a she was selected to command the competition drill team, while attending Medical Lake High School, Washington. She was an above average scholar, who maintained a 3.5 grade point average since the Seventh grade. Kayla was a member of the National Honor Society. Kayla was the youngest of the Cameron siblings, where she is survived by her Father Tony and Mother Sheila, her brother Jordan, TX, Sister Cheryl, England, Shavonne, New York Latisha, NC, Sabrina, England and Tony Jr. New York, additionally she is survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends.

A Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, from 6pm-8pm at Walker Memorial Chapel, 163 Irene Robert Rd, Lillington, NC.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 18,2013 at 3pm, White Oak Missionary Baptist Church1428 Tim Currin Rd, Lillington, NC.

Burial will be immediately following the Service in the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
