Mr. Byron Jerel " B Ray" Ray, 35, of Fayetteville, NC, died on Sunday June 18, 2017 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Friends are being received at homes of Aunt Shirley (Larry) Matthews, 81 Pioneer Ct., Lillington NC and also at home of Aunt Ann (Otis) McNeill, 282 Cedar Grove School Rd., Lillington NC.

"B Ray" had a beautiful smile and full of jokes. He could alway lighten up a person’s day even on their worst day. He was loved by so many. 

Left to cherish his memories wife, Melissa Ray, two sons, Byron Jerel Ray, Jr. and Divante Bobby Ray. Two sisters, Monica Renee Ray and Brianna Monique Floyd. Four brothers, Derrick (Titna) Floyd, Andrew (Shanika) Floyd, Brandon Harrison and Mario (Latoya) Harrison. And a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and other Family and many Friends.

Visitation for Mr. Byron Jerel “B Ray” Ray will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Walker Memorial Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd., Lillington NC 27546.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at 1:00 p.m., Anderson Creek Christian Center, 1680 Will Lucas Rd., Linden NC 28356.

The Interment will take place immediately after the service at Norrington AME Zion Church Cemetery, Lillington NC.
