Helen Gail (Walker) Bryant

Ms. Helen Gail Walker Bryant, 69, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Friends are being received at home of sister: Corina Bass, located at 6124 Hwy 210 S, Bunnlevel, NC.

Ms. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Toby; her son, Walter A. Walker, Sr; seven brothers; and four sisters. Through the infinite wisdom of Almighty God, her life on earth culminated with her transition to the infinite joys of heaven’s glory on Wednesday afternoon, January 17, 2018 at the University of North Carolina Hospitals – Chapel Hill, NC.

Memories of Helen’s unconditional love will be cherished and treasured in the hearts and souls of her daughters, Susan Walker of Dover DE and Consuela Walker of Goldsboro NC; her two sisters, Lula Corena Bass of Bunnlevel NC and Laura “Lisa” McNeill of Broadway NC; her “official” 11 grandchildren; her “official” 8 great-grandchildren; her goddaughter, Shoinette Bass Council of Bunnlevel NC; 4 sisters-in-law, Justine Walker of Brooklyn NY, Mary Walker of Winston-Salem NC, Shirley Walker of Baltimore MD, and Mary Bell Swann of Sanford NC; generations of nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, and numerous friends, including special her friend, Doris Jones of Brooklyn NY.

A Visitiation will be held, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. to Noon(family will be present at 11:30 a.m.), with the Funeral Services following the viewing, beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Walker Memorial Funeral Home, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington. Interment will take place immediately after the service in The Evander Walker Family Cemetery, 3200 block of Walker Road, Linden.
