Ms. Jessie " Honey Bee" McLean, 69, of 235 N. Summit Street, Coats ,NC, died on Monday, March 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Friends are being received at the home.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm ( Family will be present from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm), Walker Memorial Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., Andrew Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church, 2009 McLean Chapel Church Rd, Bunnlevel, NC.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in McLean Cemetery, Bunnlevel, NC.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories three children: a devoted daughter, Lisa Cole (Thomas) of Sanford, NC; two sons, Jerrold E. McLean and Deward McLean of the home; four grandchildren, Terrell Ridges of High Point, NC, Thomas Cole of Fayetteville, NC, Amayzin Elliott of Dunn, NC, and Deoveon McLean of Raeford, NC; four great grand-children, Amaris and TJ Ridges of High Point, NC and Thomas & Brielle Cole of Fayetteville, NC; three brothers, Samuel (“Rabbit”) Ridges of Lillington, NC, Willie Evans Ridges of Florence, SC, and Jimmy Ridges of Bennettsville, SC,  two  sisters-in-law Mary Ridges of Sanford, NC and Juanita Ridges of Detroit, MI; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many close friends and former coworkers. Her sincere love and friendship meant a lot to so many people which will never, ever be forgotten. God sent some beautiful, heavenly angels down to watch and care for her during her time of illness, her sisters, our special Aunties, Pat Williams, Sharon Harrington, Mary Elliott, Linda (Squeaky) Moore and Sandy Tyre, a long-time devoted friend for over fifty years.
