Mr. Jalen Juwan "JJ" Kelly, 22, of Spring Lake NC died on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Central Harnett Hospital, Lillington NC

Friends are being received at the home located at 661 Azalea Dr., Spring Lake NC 28390.

Jalen was born on November 1, 1994 in Dunn NC to Ronald (Peter) Kelly, Yvette Crawford Crosby Morris.

Affectionately known by family and friends as "J.J.". Jalen would walk in a room and bring light to it. Jalen had such a free spirit and brought joy to those around him. Jalen was a good father and he loved his kids.

Jalen was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother, Evelyn McKinnis, Great Grandfather, Willie McKinnis, Great Grandfather, Roger Kelly, Aunt, Donna Gail Kelly-Blue, Grandfather, Ronald McKinnis.

Jalen is survived by his two daughters, Serenity Ricks, Zariah Ricks both of Spring Lake NC, two brothers, Jaquan Kelly, Joshua Kelly of Spring Lake NC. sister, Makeda Kelly also of Spring Lake NC, Godbrother, Jam Ward, Special Uncle/Godfather, Telly (Regina) Kelly of Spring Lake NC. Uncle, Elvin Williams of Atlantic City, Uncle, Richard (Adrienne) Crosby of Waldorf MD, Maurice Crosby of Fayetteville NC, Aunt, Shelly Kelly of Raleigh NC, Great Grandmother, Willie Mae Kelly of Lillington NC, Grandmother, Mable Kelly of Spring Lake NC, Dorothy Crosby, Linden NC, Cora Crosby, Bunnlevel NC. Special cousins, Jarius Kelly of Raleigh NC, Antione Williams of Bunnlevel NC, Godparents, Jerry (Sharon) Baker of Bunnlevel NC. Special friend, (Mother of Children) Zhane' Ricks of Spring Lake NC. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 2:00 pm, Walker Memorial Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC 27546
