Clara Mae (Taylor) Smith

Ms. Clara Mae Taylor Smith, 67, of 688 Shawtown Rd, Lillington, NC, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, At UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home.

While many will feel the loss of her physical absence, none will miss her more than her loving family.  Her memory will live on through her sisters; Cora Lena Taylor Smith, Nora Florence Taylor Parks, Margaret Lucille Taylor and Irene Taylor McNeill and her brother; Ernest Willie Wright Taylor (Brother).  A great host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews will remember her as long as life itself shall last.  It’s hard to forget such a big personality, sharp attitude and distinctive laugh.  God blessed us to know, love and share her for 67 wonderful years.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Funeral Services following the viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, 183 Bailey Way, Lillington, NC.
