Earnest " Punnie" aka " Evon" Hodges

Mr. Earnest “ Punnie” Hodges, aka “ Evon”, 69 of 4815 Old US 421, Lillington, NC, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home.

Friends are received at his home and home of son; Jeffery Hodges, located at 395 West Church Street, Angier, NC.

 Earnest leaves to cherish his everlasting memories to the love of his life, his wife: Beverly “Elaine “ McEachin Hodges of the home; four sons: Tony Hodges of Angier, Jeffrey “Willie” Hodges of Angier, Dewayne McEachin of Cameron, NC, and Jayuan Wright of Panama City, FL; one step-son: Charles McEachin of Hampton VA, two daughters: Angela “Nikki” Arthur of Fayetteville, NC and Christy Wright; twenty grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers: Rodney “Man”  (Arline) Hodges of Lillington,  NC and Robert “Goggy”  Hodges of Boston, MA; six sisters’-in-law  Jean Hodges of Lillington, NC; Rosa Lee McKoy of Hillside, NJ; Carrie Mae (Eugene) McKoy of Lillington, NC; Mary Bass and Janice (Charles) Walker both of Bunnlevel, NC and Sandra (Otis) Ray of Angier, NC;, four brothers’-in-law; James McLean,  of Lillington, NC, Donald (Diane) McEachin of Mamers, NC, Ronald McEachin of Dillon, SC, Gerald (Alberta) McEachin, Sr., of Lillington, NC,; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who all loved him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m (Family will be present at 7:00 p.m.), Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., Lillington Star FWB Church, 183 Bailey Way Rd, Lillington, NC.

Interment will take place immediately after service in Lillington First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Lillington, NC.
