George William " Murk" Murchison III

Mr. George William " Murk"  Murchison, Jr., 47, of Lillington, NC, died on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, Fayetteville, NC.

Friends are being received at the home of his sister: Reneasha McLean, located at 115 Herbert Lane, Lillington, NC.

We ask that you respect the family during their time of bereavement and respectfully visit between the hours of 11am and 7pm.

Mr. William “ Murk” leaves to cherish his many memories daughter, Beyonka Moore and grandson; Kennedi Dawson, of Lillington,NC.,mother; Frances “Elaine” Murchison, sister; Reneasha McLean and brother; Jessie Murchison,all of Lillington NC, niece: Akeelah McLean and nephew: Ahmad Dyson, both of Lillington, NC,two uncles; Jake Campbell and Leroy Murchison, aunts; Annie “LouLou” Campbell, Linda Campbell,Phyllis Campbell and Cassandra Campbell ,Margaret (Wavey) Raines,all of Lillington, NC, Elaine Murchison, of Washington,DC,godson; Darrius White, special friends, Ms.Lettie Curley, Russel “Joan” Taylor of Lillington,NC,and a host of cousins and friends who all loved him dearly.

A Visitation  will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with the Funeral Service following the Visitation, beginning at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, November 10, 2018, Walker Funeral Home and Cremation Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.

The Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Mt. Olive Church Cemetery, Lillington, NC.
