Ms. Gwendolyn “ Gwen” Thompson, 55, of Liilington, NC, died on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, at Maria Parham Medical Center, Henderson, NC.

Friends are being received at the home of daughter; Monique West, located at 874 Samuel McKoy Lane, Lillington, NC.

Gwen leaves to cherish her memories; her mother Joyce Jackson, of Lillington, NC,  two loving daughter; Monique West( Kenneth), of Lillington, NC and Chellishia Jones( Earl), of Henderson NC, two sons : Gary West Sr., of Dunn, NC and Andregus Thompson( Victoria), of Ft. Stewart, GA, grandchildren: Asheley West, Angel McNeill, Prenstyn McKoy, Zevaeh Moore, Zariyah Moore, Ty- Eisha West,Ty-Shea West, Gary West Jr., Denine West, Zamorie West- Eason, Deldrick McNeill, Issac McLean, Isiah McLean, Zymere Thompson, Majasty Thompson and Romance Thompson., one sister; Shirley West, of Lillington, NC,three brothers; Arnold West ( Doris) and Joe Henry West, both of Lillington, NC  and Levon Jackson( Joyce), of Georgia. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, friends and other relatives. a very special family friend, Angela McBryde, of Dunn, NC.

Viewing will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018,from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church , located at 1146 NC 210 Lillington, NC with the Funeral Services following the viewing, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will take place immediately after service in the Church Cemetery located on Bailey Way, Lillington, NC.
