Yesterday, I learned of Josh's passing from a colleague at DCRI where we worked on separate teams. Our desks were near each other though. He crossed my mind not too long ago even though he left DCRI last year. I remembered a time when someone called him at his desk and it was a wrong number, but hospital related. The person on the other end dialed him by mistake and was looking for a completely different department within the hospital. Instead of telling the caller that it was a wrong number, not the hospital, and hanging up, Josh helped the person on the other end and went above and beyond to get the correct number for the person. It was important to him to help this stranger on the phone in any way he could. He was very quiet at work, but seemed like the type of person who who go out of the way to help others. I'm praying for your family to continue the grieving and healing process of his passing.

Dear Cheryl & Sheri & Family,
"What moves through us is a sadness, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch. We may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just you died, but that you lived. And that you life gave us memories too beautiful to forget." Anonymous author

Adrienne, remember what God told and know that he always keeps his word.
Sheri, God has strengthened and prepared you in a way that others can’t understand. The heaviness on our hearts will eventually be replaced with memories of the kind and intelligent person that he was and the good times that we shared with him. Love you both.

Dear Sheri and Adrienne, Our hearts go out to you. We know there are no words at this time that can take away the pain. Just know that he is with the Lord now, and our love and sympathy are with you. Love

Sheri, I send my condolences to you and your family during this time. I didn't know your son personally, but I'm sure he was a fine young man that will be missed dearly. May God grant you and your family peace and comfort .

Dear Sheri and family... I am so very sorry to learn of your loss of Joshua.
Fortunately, death is only a temporary part of life. Jesus promised us a wonderful resurrection of the dead (John 5:28,29/1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14), so we have the hope of being reunited with our deceased loved ones. In the meantime, even though the pain of loss through death may sometimes seem insurmountable, rest assured that God will give you the strength necessary to endure the coming months (Psalm 46:1).
Please accept my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences…. John
