I'm truly sorry for your loss,
Many have found comfort in the promises held out in the Bible, one of which says that those in God's memory will be resurrected to a peaceful paradise earth to live forever with others who have been deemed as righteous (John 5:28,27; Psalms 37:10,11,29). Another is found at Psalms 34:18 which says Jehovah is close to those who are broken hearted. Everyone who loved Owen is broken hearted, so it's encouraging to know our Heavenly Father will comfort you. Please know that while you pray for comfort, others are praying for you too.

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of Brother Owen. I found out after I had met him that he was a cousin of my family. I hadn't seen him in quite some time, but I can remember that he always had a smile and a kind and sometimes funny word for you. He will be truly missed, but remember to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.God's blessings now and in the days to come.

Mother Linda Ballentine and The Ballentine Family, I extend my sincere condolences for your loss. Bro.Owens was one to be thought highly of due to his heartfelt mannerism toward you (mother Ballentine), his immediate family, his call as Armor bearer to his Pastor and last but not least, to his Church Family. I, for one will truly miss him not because he's my family, but because every Sunday morning in passing as he escorted Pastor Washington to his office, he would always say "good morning couz, you doing alright?" We would always say "I love you." Through his struggle, he is now at rest. No more pain and suffering. He is resting easy over in the "Promised Land." I continue to pray that the Lord will give you strength, peace and joy. For the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Words can not express to me how hurtful, sadden and heavy how my heart is feeling right now and when I first got the news. I am indeed still in a state of shock and simply can not believe it...STILL!!! What an sweet, caring and humble man Mr. Owen was. No matter where you saw him, he would ALWAYS smile, speak to you and greet you. Upon arriving on the church grounds, he indeed would be the first person I would see standing on the church steps waiting on our Pastor. It never would fell, he would speak and open the door for me. Mr. Owen was the same Sunday after Sunday doing what he loved most...Armour Bearing and Assisting in every way possible. To you Mother Linda, I will forever be your girl and love you always. When we come across one another, you and I be sure to speak, hug and greet one another. You are just as sweet as you want to be and I thank you for that!!! I am sending my deepest thoughts, prayers and condolences to you and the Ballentine Sister's. Again, I Love You Today, Tomorrow and Forever.
