Addie Jane (Blue) Smith

Ms. Addie Smith, 80, of Bunnlevel, NC,  passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, Fayetteville, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home, located at 325 Tomato Lane, Bunnlevel, NC 28323

Addie leaves to cherish her memories, four sons; Ray V. Smith (Nadine), Leamon L. Smith, Joe S. Smith and Andrew E. Smith (Lashonda); husband; Devone Smith, sisters; Agnes Blue, of Raleigh, NC, Bertha Charlotte (Blue) Smith, of Cameron, NC, Grace (Blue) Hicks Castro, of Raleigh,NC, Mary (Blue) Hobbs (Jay Hobbs), of Waukegan, Illinois, and Dr. Bennis Blue, of Raleigh, NC; maternal aunts; Ruby (Walker) Artis- (Cliffous Artis), sister in laws; Margaret Smith and Annie Smith, her grandkids (Ray’s kids)- Tamika Bell, Ray Smith, Sharon Smith, Alecia Harris, Addie Smith (and Poppie-Ra’Shawn), Raejane Smith, Nyiesha Morris, Donavan Jones, Sirvone Smith, Justin Smith, Joseph Smith; (Leamon’s kids)- Brandon Smith; (Joe’s kids)-  Courtney Smith (Amber, Miracle, Courtney Jane), Marvin Smith, Mary Smith, Savannah Smith, Deangelo Smith, Faith Smith; (Earl’s kids) William E. Harris, Jeremy Smith, Marvin Smith, Jermaine Smith, Andrew Smith, Erica Smith, Nautica Smith, Zyonna Smith, Whitney Smith, Jasmin Kraenzel, Amanda Hodges, Iyonna Early; (Andrew’s kids)- Andrew Maynor, Brandon Burroughs, James Smith, Tyrell Crawford, Tianna Crawford, Jeylan Crawford, Shian Sweeney. Additionally, she leaves a number of great grandkids, great great grandkids, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to cherish her memory. Addie would have also have wanted special mention of “her twins” Waddell and Lindell Spearman, Vernon Mosier and Timothy Harris.

A Celebration of Life for Ms. Addie Jane Smith will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.,Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. Services will immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Walker Family Cemetery, Linden, NC.
