Bessie Lee (McDonald) Blue

Ms. Bessie Blue, 92, of 78 Fuller Dr., transitioned peacefully surrounded by her love ones Wednesday, May 14, 2025.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home.

Ms. Bessie leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters; Mary A. McDonald, of Florence, SC, Martha Smith, Mary D. Blue, and Annie( Bobby) Brown, all of Lillington, NC, five sons; Frank McDonald, June McDonald and Sammie Blue, all of Lillington, NC, Eddie (Carmen) Blue, of Lexington, SC and Ricky (Ge’l) Blue, of Roseboro, NC, three brother-in-laws; Samuel Blue, of the home, Willie Blue, James Blue, of Springfield, Mass, 29 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, 26 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 3:00 p.m.,Cape Fear Conference “ A” Headquarters, 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery, Shawtown Rd, Lillington N.C.
