Charlie Oscar Chance

Mr. Charlie Oscar Chance, 82, of Linden, NC, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Betsy Johnson Hospital, Dunn, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of son: Charles McNeill, located at 50 Star Fruit Lane, Linden, NC.

Charlie leaves to cherish his many memories: Peggy Rochelle McNeill and Charles (Brianna) McNeill, of the home, as well as Betty Jean Chance and children; Terry Chance, of Erwin, NC, Carol (James) McKoy, of Dunn, NC, Regina (Will) Huffin, of Columbia, SC and Carlon Chance, of Fayetteville, NC, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister; Helen Hicks, of Linden, NC, sister-in-law; Johnnie Mae Chance, Linden, NC, two aunts; Bishop Lee Annie McNeill, Bunnlevel, NC and Venna Walker Williams, Stockbridge, GA, and one uncle; William Henry (Annie Pearl) Walker, of Bunnlevel, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

If in attendance during Visitation or Services, you are required to wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time. Services will immediately follow the Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. 

Interment will take place immediately after service, Faith Tabernacle United Holy Church Cemetery, 750 Raynor McLamb Rd, Bunnlevel, NC.

Due to COVID-19, all gatherings are being limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
