Conce Monalisa (Walser) Brooks

Ms. Conce Brooks, 68, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents, to whom she devoted many years of caregiving and a loving sister, Mrs. Jacqueline W. Elliott.

Mona’s memories and love will be cherished by her sisters; Paula W. Taylor and Angela (Peter) Gunn, brothers: Tarquintus (Nora) Walser, Wayne (Theresa) Walser; nieces: Casey (Goodie) Brown, Kisha Taylor, Tedra (Rodney) O’Neal, Mashekia (Emanuel) Raines, and Ashlei Walser; nephews: Lance (Sarah) Gunn, Arlie Gunn, Preston Taylor, Jr. and Milton Elliott, a host of other relatives, church family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow the Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., Lillington Grove OFWB Church,106 E. Washington Street, Lillington, NC.

Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery, Lillington, NC.
