Mr. Leon McLean, 83, of 1401 S 4th Street, Lillington, NC, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 at his home.
Extended family and friends are being received at the home. Visitation hours at the home will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and you are REQUIRED to wear a Mask or Facial Covering.
Deacon Leon McLean leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Lois Ann McLean of the home; 2 daughters, Selina N. McLean of the home and Tonya T. Bonds (Anthony) of Huddleston, VA; 4 sons, Timothy McLean, that preceded him in death, Kenneth McKoy (Silvia) of Birmingham, AL, Matthew Earl McLean (Betty) of Cameron, NC, and Clarence McLean (Velma) of Lillington, NC; one sister, Bertha McNeill of Erwin, NC; one brother, Roosevelt McLean of Capitol Heights, MD; 7 brothers and 2 sisters that preceded him in death; 2 sisters-in-law, Mary Magalene Staton and Velma Thomas, both of Bunnlevel, NC; 12 grands; 13 great-grands; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
A Visitation well be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (family present), at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time,.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at McLean Cemetery, Bunnlevel, NC.
Per the family, if in attendance during Services, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.
Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
