Ms. Debroah Louise Chavis, 63, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026, at  Duke HomeCare and Hospic, Durham, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of her daughter; Glenda Vandergriff, located at: 42 Moonglow Ave. Apt 204, Lillington, NC (Between the hours of 4 :00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ONLY daily, parking on the side).

Ms. Deborah leave to cherish her memories,daughter; Glenda Vandergriff,  great-granddaughter; De’Andra Wynn, and bonus son Timothy Vandergriff, all of the home, brothers; Anthony (Angela) McNeill, of Stackton, Califorina  and Alvin (Karen) McDowell, of Dunn, NC , her favorite uncle; James “ Uncle Buck” McNeill, of Dale City, Virginia, grandchildren; Danny Mckoy, Jr. of Lillington,NC  and Colisha Hayes of Dunn, NC, along with with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.,Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 12:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC,.
