Donald Ray Mitchell

Mr. Donald Ray Mitchell, 50, of 336 Flyway Drive, Lillington, NC, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020, at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home.

Please respect the Governor's Executive Order Number 120 and the family wishes, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Left to cherish Donald memories: his loving wife, Angela Mitchell of the home; daughters, DaShawna Mitchell of the home, Latrice Monroe (Tyrone) of Lillington, North Carolina; one son; Michael Monroe of the home; five grandchildren, Michael, Makell, Makayla, Jayden, and Taylor; three brothers, Johnell Chance of Bunnlevel, North Carolina, Sammy Whittington of Taylorsville, North Carolina, and Terry Mitchell (Sherry) of Cameron North Carolina; one sister, Debra Allen of Wedgefield, South Carolina; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  

A Viewing will be held on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 12:00 noon till 1:30 pm, Walker Funeral Home and Cremation, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC 27546,

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Lillington First Presbyterian Church, 981 Shawtown Road, Lillington, NC. 
 

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc. Please check with the family to see if you are invited.
