Edith Helena (Prince) McCormick

Ms. Edith H. Prince McCormick, 92, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2024, surrounded by her love ones.

Ms.Edith leaves to cherish her many memories; children, Phyllis A. McCormick of Sanford, NC, Donnell McCormick (Sylvia McCormíck) of Sanford, NC, Marie Y. McCormick of Stamford, CT, Julian D. Johnson (Ronald Johnson) of West Chicago, IL, David L. McCormick (Bonnie McCormick) of Cranston, R.l, Ernest R. McCormick (Barbara McCormick) of Bridgeport, CT, and Linda J. Boothe of Bridgeport, CT, sisters; Edna H. Yarborough (Louis Yarborough) and Vernell Simmons (Arthur Simmons), brother; Paul Prince Sr.,along with five generations of twenty grandkids, twenty-nine great grandkids, eleven great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow the Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., Cameron Grove AMEZ, 309 Vernon Street, Broadway, NC.

Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Church of God Broadway Church Cemetery, 5168 Olivia Rd, Sanford, NC.
