Eldress Dorothy McNeill

Ms. Dorothy McNeill, 78, of Bunnlevel- Erwin Rd, Erwin, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at her residence.

Surviving to cherish her memories are: one devoted son, Michael of the home; one son-in-law, Deacon Eugene Smith; one granddaughter, Minister Monique Tuset (Juan) of Durham, NC; one grandson, Dominique Smith of Erwin, NC; two sisters, Pearlie Hudson, Durham, NC and Lillie Boyd (Leon), Garner, NC; brother-in-law Jerome Goodwin, Durham, NC; five great-grandchildren, Ayden, Mason, Maddox, Eliana, and Asher. Nieces and nephews who passionately called her “Aunt Dot” include, Minister Cynthia McCants, Wendell, NC, Bernadine Harris (Alvin), Apex, NC, Jacinta Allmond, Durham, NC, Jeronica Goodwin, Washington, DC, Nikita Spears (Alexander), Clayton, NC, Jerrod Goodwin, Erwin, NC and Carlton Boyd, Germantown, MD; one uncle, David Smith, Dunn, NC; one great aunt, Mrs. Cora Cameron, Erwin, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.  

Per the family, if in attendance during Visitation or Services, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Services will immediately follow the Visitation beginning at 1:00 PM, at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. 

Interment will take place after the service, at The Original Freewill Bethel Baptist Church, 4004 Bunnlevel- Erwin Rd Erwin, NC. 

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
