Elois Del (Wilson) Joyner

Ms. Elois Del Wilson Joyner, 70, of Raleigh, NC passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the Brian Center, Durham, NC.  

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of her son, Mr. Michael Joyner, located at 5157 Limewood Street, Knighgtdale, NC 27545.

She leaves to cherish the memories of her beautiful smile and lovingkindness: husband, Chester of Raleigh, NC; 3 sons, Michael (Melissa) of Knightdale, NC; Anthony (Laitoya) of Durham, NC; and Craig (LaTasha) of Clayton, NC; a sister, Terry Bowen (Earl) of Cleveland, Ohio; 2 brothers, Harvey Wilson of Florida, and Tony Fleming of Cleveland, Ohio; mother-in-law, Mae Joyner of Newark, Delaware; a sister-in-law, Sheila Heath (Anthony) of Philadelphia; 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and special friend and in-home healthcare aide, Ms. Sarah Rhodes of New Hill, NC.

Per the family, if in attendance during Viewing or Services, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

A Viewing will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home Chapel,163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Services will immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 12:00 PM, at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC.  

Interment will take place after the service, at Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Bailey Way, Lillington, NC.

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
