Mr. George Purvis McCormick, Jr, 80, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Emerald Health and Rehabilitation, Lillington, NC.
Left to cherish Mr. George many memories, wife; Margaret Harris McCormick, daughters; Cynthia McCormick Jamison, of Fayetteville, NC and Ursula McCormick, of Lillington ,NC, “son”-in-law; Donald Jamison, of Fayetteville, NC, grandchildren; Donnesha Jamison and Donald Jamison, Jr. both of, Fayetteville, NC, great-granddaughters; Zuri Boston, of Fayetteville, NC and Lei’Ana Jamison, of New Jersey, great-grandsons; Cameron Boston, of Fayetteville, NC and Amir Jamison, of Kentucky,stepsons; Ryan Harris and Nicky Harris, of Raleigh, NC, step-great-grandson; Kyan Pryor, of Burlington NC, brothers;James McCormick and Charles (Emilia) McCormick of Lillington NC; his sisters: Patricia McNeill and Lannie McCormick, of Lillington, NC and Ola M. Viewing will be held will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Mt. Zion Christian Fellowship Center, 707 Susan Tart Rd. Dunn N.C.
