James " Jake the Snake" Clarence Ledbetter Sr.

Mr. James ' Jake the Snake" Ledbetter, Sr, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, surrounded by his love ones.

At the Families Request they ARE NOT Receiving Visitors. 

James was preceded in death by his son, Contrell Ledbetter, daughter, Belinda Dudley, brothers, John Ledbetter (Diane), Lewis Ledbetter (Katherine) and sister, Jean Ledbetter.

James leaves to cherish his memories wife, of 55 years, Jenny Ledbetter; son, James Ledbetter Jr., four daughters, Brenda (Clarence) Taylor, Irene (Daniel) Longmire, Nitra Ledbetter, and  Kako Archie, grandchildren, Torez, K’Lah, Jaquan, Jala, Anthony, Aveeion, Isiah, Tiyana, Zekiah, Jasmine,Tara, Taylor, Alicia, sisters, Lena (James) Gainey, Gayle (Norman) Bell and Doris Ledbetter, brothers, Jerry (Jennifer) Ledbetter, Leroy (Katie) Ledbetter, Isaac (Mae) Ledbetter, Michael (Louise) Ledbetter, Solomon (Jeanette) Ledbetter, and Perry (Ellen) Ledbetter, special nieces/daughters, Dena, Brenda ,Michelle and Renee, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and many friends.  

IF IN ATTENDANCE DURING SERVICE OR VISITATION YOU ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK OR FACE COVERING

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time. Service will immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 3:00 pm.
