James “ Shookie” Edward Boyd

Mr. James “ Shookie” Boyd, 70, of 15 Thimbleweed Lane, Lillington, NC, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home.

Left to cherish his many memories, his loving wife; Victoria Boyd, of the home, daughters; Ashley Melvin and Allison Boyd, both of the home, Shannon Bostic, of Lillington, NC, Angela Burrell, of Raleigh, NC, Janice (Eric) Poston, of Clayton, NC and Tylonia Nickerson, of Fuquay Varina, NC, one sister; Penny Mae Bumpers, of Clayton, NC, one brother; Windsor Boyd, mother- in law; Lula Bostic, of Angier, NC, two sister-in -laws; Venisa Bostic, of Anger, NC and Stephanie(Kelvin) Cobb, of Apex, NC, brother -in- law; William Bostic, of Angier ,NC, two special nieces; Geneva Boyd and Kadijah Bostic, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Mr. James “ Shookie” Boyd will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, Viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. Services will immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m.
