Joe Ellis James, Sr.

Mr. Joe James, 75, passed away on Friday, June, 24, 2022 at Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington, NC.

Mr. Joe leaves to cherish his memories; daughters; April James, of Baltimore, MD and Teresa McArthur Liles, of Dunn, NC, grandson; Romelo Ellis James, nicee and nephew whom he loved as his own, Seneca James (Raphael), of Lillington, NC and Ronnie McKay, of Angier, NC, sister; Essie Allen, of Raleigh, NC, three brothers; Johnnie James (Geraldine), of Angier, NC, Bernice James (Linda), of Charlotte, NC and Willie James (Joycelyn), of Willow Springs, NC. A host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Joe Ellis James Sr. will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022, viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Services will  immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 2:00 p.m. Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. 

Interment will take place immediately after Service at James Cemetery, Coats, NC.
