John Cameron

Mr. John Cameron, 76, of Erwin, NC, passed away on Thursday, July 24, in Winston Salem, NC, surrounded by his love ones.

John was born July 8, 1949 to Beatrice Cameron-McDougal and Thomas Lee Cameron whom preceded him in death and his brother Cleveland Cameron preceded him in death.

He will be remembered by his wife Mary Cameron of 55 years, his children Chandra (Charles) G. (Spartanburg County, SC), Shalanda (Damian) W. (Forsyth County, NC), Tangela (Josh) E. (Forsyth County, NC) Grandchildren: Damian, Cameron, Devon, Carter, Josh, and Teagan, Brothers: Thomas (Elaine) Cameron of Buies Creek, NC, Larry (Marie) Cameron of Indianapolis, IN, Harvey (Elaine) Cameron of Bronx, NY, Frederick ( Mary) Cameron of Bunnlevel, NC as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. 

Viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3,  2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow the Viewing beginning at 3:00 p.m., Cape Fear Conference “ A” Headquarters, 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin, NC.
