LaRue West

Mr. LaRue West, 65, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Emerald Healthcare, Lillington, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of his mother, Dorothy Bunkley, at 1318 Hwy 27 West, Lillington, NC 27546, and you are required to wear a mask.  

He leaves to cherish his memory; his mother, Dorothy Bunkley of Lillington;  brother, Arnold Cannady (Renee) of Minneapolis, sister; Brenda Knight (Kevin) of Albany, New York; daughters, Alonna Vinson of Fayetteville, NC, Temiki Chance Bell, Crystal McDougald, and Alethia Pannell all of NC; sons, Shawn West and Stephen Pannell of NC; 3 grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews; his aunts, Eloise Brown (Robert) of Daytona Beach Florida, Joyce Jackson, Clarista West, Irene McDonald, Sylvia Jenkins, Glendora Carol, and Sheila Elliott of NC; uncles, David West (Allison) of Germany, and Wilbert West (Krissy), Fletcher West, Terry West (Alice), Percy Elliott of Baltimore, MD, Bernard Elliott, Anthony Elliott, David Elliott NC; and a host other relatives and friends. He also leaves a special brother, Elmon Pipkin, Jr. (Rose).

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Service will immediately follow the Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. 

Interment will take place after the Service in the Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lillington, NC. 

If in attendance during Visitation or Services, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.
