Lamont "Rooster" McDonald

Mr. Lamont “Rooster” McDonald, 46, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of his sister: Selina McDonald located at: 510 W. Loften St. Lillington, NC, 27546, between the hours of 3-9pm.

Mr. Lamont is leaving behind a host of those who love him and will miss him dearly: his mother; Sandra (Glen) McMillan, of Lillington, NC, step mother; Irene McDonald, of Lillington, NC, four daughters; Khadijah McDonald, Si’Mahni McDonald, both of Dunn, NC,  Anastasia McDonald, of Erwin, NC, Ariel McDonald, of Lillington, NC, one son; Jabri McDonald, of Lillington, NC, two brothers; Andrew (Penny) Thompson and Fontain McDonald, both of Lillington, NC, one step brother; John Marsh, of Lillington, NC, one sister; Selina (Derrick) Covington, of Lillington, NC, one step sister; Jasmine Marsh, of Lillington, NC, three grandchildren; Kayden Smith, Kay’leigh Smith, and Kamybah Smith, all of Dunn, NC, two grandmothers; Novella Thompson and Bessie Blue, both of Lillington, NC, a long time brother/ best friend, Barret Marsh, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time. Service will immediately follow the Visitation, beginning at 2:00 pm.

Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn, NC.
