Mr. Laverne Lee Smith, 60, of Dunn, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care, Bolivia, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of cousin Gwen Elliott, located at: 509 N 12th Street, Erwin, NC.

Mr. Laverne Smith leaves to cherish his love and memories, son; Jahavium Smith ,of Dunn, NC ,two brothers; Charles Smith (Stephanie),of Clinton,NC and Jimmy Smith, of Miami , FL, along with a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service for Mr. Laverne Lee Smith will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, 1:00 p.m. Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC.
