Obituary
Mr. Leamon "Big Guy" Smith, 63, of 325 Tomato Lane, Bunnlevel, NC passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023, at Betsey Johnson Hospital, Dunn NC.
Extended family and friends are being received at the home.
Leamon “ Big Guy” leaves to mourn one son; Brandon Smith, three brothers; Ray V. Smith (Vivian), Joe S. Smith and Andrew E. Smith (Lashonda), father; Devone Smith, aunts; Agnes Blue of Raleigh NC, Bertha Charlotte (Blue) Smith, of Cameron NC, Grace (Blue) Hicks Castro, of Raleigh NC, Mary (Blue) Hobbs- (Jay Hobbs), of Waukegan Illinois, Dr. Bennis Blue, of Raleigh NC, Margaret Smith (Bobby) and Annie Smith (Roy),maternal grandmother;Lois Evans, great aunt; Ruby (Walker) Artis- (Cliffous Artis). Additionally, he leaves a number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to cherish his memory. A very special mention of “daughters” Raejane Smith, Lil Addie Smith, Alecia “Papoose” Harris, Amanda Hodges and Ray Ray Smith (Leamon’s nieces and nephew he assisted in raising). Leamon would have also want mention of his “brothers” Waddell and Lindell Spearman, Vernon Mosier and Timothy Harris.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.
