Leslie Smith

Mr. Leslie Smith, 69, of Buckhead, GA, formerly of Erwin, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Jones, located at 1410 McLean Chapel Church Road, Bunnlevel, NC.   

Mr. Leslie leaves to forever cherish his memories: one daughter, Monique Smith of Dunn, NC and one son, Leslie Smith, Jr. of Dunn, NC; nine grandchildren, Dominick, Lauren, Lakiaya, Dominique, Darius, Nikem, Jay Shaun “Zach”, Montayvious and Colby; four great grandchildren; one sister, Callie Jones (James), of Bunnlevel, NC; five brothers, James Smith, Sr., David Smith, Larry Smith, all of Buckhead, GA, Pastor Ronnie Smith (Angela) of Raeford, NC and Calvin Smith, of Fayetteville, NC; one uncle, Bishop William Barnes, of Dunn, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

If in attendance during Service, you are REQUIRED to wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM, Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. 

Interment will take place immediately following the service, at Sandhills Veteran Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. 

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
