Madie (Marsh) McDougald

Ms. Madie Marsh McDougald , 79, of 1001 Summerville Mamers Rd, Lillington, NC, passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at Central Harnett Hospital, Lillington NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home between the hours of 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily and you are required to wear a mask.​​

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle McDougald , of Angier, NC; and sons, Darryl McDougald (Slava) of Durham, NC; Gerald McDougald Sr. (Cherie), of Las Vegas, NV; and Charles E. Mcdougall II, of Greensboro, NC., three sisters also cherish her memory; Rev. Eudora Womack, Patricia (Sherman) Ray, and Erma Williams— all of Lillington; two brothers, Earl Flynn, of Lillington and Troy (Tawanna) Marsh, of Sanford; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, including an exceptional friend Michelle Waddell.

A Viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021  from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home Chapel,163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. If in attendance to Visitation or Service, wear a Mask or Facial Covering.   

Interment will take place immediately after the Service in Lillington Star FWB Church Cemetery,183 Bailey Way Rd, Lillington, NC.
