Malinda (Strickland) Harris

Mrs. Malinda Strickland Harris, 64, of Lillington, NC, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2019, at her residence.

Friends are being received at the home of her sister-in- law: Mary Helen Blue, located at 272 Gentry Rd, Erwin, NC 28339.

Mrs. Malinda leaves to cherish her memories; her loving husband: Willie R. Harris, of the home, daughter: Lakeisha (James) Smith, of Godwin, NC, sisters: Robin Blythe, of New Orleans and Jante Blythe, of Jonesboro, Arkanas, two brothers; Percy Blue and Erick Blythe, of New Orleans, brother-in- law Herman( Phyllis) Harris, of Dunn, NC, and Ernest (Sarah) Harris, of Lillington, NC, four sister-in - laws; Retha Briggs,of Phila, PA, Barbara Perry, of Fayetteville, NC, Mary Helen Blue and Juanita Simmons, of Erwin, NC, four granddaughters; Jhanavia Taylor, Tyshasuna Taylor, Jayden and Jaykayla Smith, all of Godwin, NC, step-son: Willie Harris, Jr, of Dunn, NC, three stepdaughters; Lisa Ferguson, Dede Harris and Pamela Harris, approximately fourteen grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at Lillington Grove FWB Church, 106 E Washington Street, Lillington, NC 27546.

Interment will take place immediately after the service Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin, NC.
