Pastor Edward Walker

Pastor Edward Walker, 78, of Wadesboro, NC passed away surround by his loved ones on Wednesday, June 25, 2025.

Pastor Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Lettie Walker, one son, Keith Powe, and three sisters; Polly Walker, Peggy McLean and Margaret Walker.

Pastor E.L. Walker leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife; Nancy P. Walker, three sons; Nathaniel Powe, of Washington State, James Edward Blue, of New Jersey, and Edward Williams, of Bunnlevel, NC, seven grandchildren; one brother; Lonnie Walker, of Fayetteville, N.C, two sisters; Lessie Holliday (Johnnie), of Linden, N.C and LaVerne Harper (Ray), of Fayetteville, NC, one niece raised like a sister, Lettie Jones, nine bonus sisters and brothers from the late Joe and Louise Walker, a huge number of devoted nieces and nephews, one lovable aunt, Annie Pearl Walker, six bothers-in -laws, five sisters-in-laws and a host of cousins and many friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.,Celebration of Life will follow the Viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m.,Cape Fear Conference “ A” Headquarters, 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC.

Interment will take place immediately after the service in Walker Family Cemetery, Linden, NC.
