Rev. Lincoln Blanding

Rev. Lincoln Blanding,74, of 125 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home between the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Please respect these times.

Rev. Lincoln Blanding was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, and three brothers.

He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife: Carolyn Blanding, of the home, two daughters: Cordelia Blanding Winchester and Emily Blanding of Lillington, NC; two brothers: James (Cynthia) Blanding  San,Fancisco, California and Joe Gudger, of Jacksonville, Florida; one brother-in-law: Donald Simpson; two sisters-in-law: Cathorine Witherspoon and Elouise Murray, two grandchildren: Reginald Winchester and Nyla Blanding; two great- grandchildren: Reyna Winchester and Kaleb Street. Lincoln had many special friends, adopted children, godchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends. Rev. Blanding will truly be misses by many.

Per the family, if in attendance to Visiting, Visitation or Service, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

A Visitation will be held Monday, August 31, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 576 Needmore Road, Carthage, NC, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Rd. Lillington, NC, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m, Walker Funeral Home Chapel,with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020,at 1:00 p.m., at Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church,1146 HWY 210, Lillington, NC.

****Services will be held outside and you are to remain in your vehicle.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in the Church Cemetery.
