Roosevelt Fitzgerald Rogers

Mr. Roosevelt Fitzgerald Roger, 88, of Bunnlevel, NC, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, Fayetteville, NC.

Deacon Rogers, a beloved figure in our community, was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Burnell Rogers, and their son, Micthell Rogers. He is survived by his son, Forrest Rogers (Puncho). He is also fondly remembered by his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who brought joy and pride t o his life, as well a s a host of other relatives and friends who have been touched by his kindness and strength. Among those who stood b y his side a s a devoted friend is Reginal Buie, who shared countless memories and experiences with Deacon Rogers. Together, they navigated life's journey, and Reginal's support will always be treasured. Deacon Rogers leaves behind not only a family but a community that will forever honor his memory and contributions.

Viewing will be held will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.,Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 3:00 p.m., Cape Fear Conference ‘A’ Headquarters, 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC 28339.

Interment will take place in Cumberland Union FWB Church Cemetery, Linden, NC.
