Susan Junean Walker

Ms. Susan Junean Walker, 54, of Greensboro, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at her home in Greensboro, NC.  

The life and the legacy of Susan will be forever etched in the hearts and souls of her children: Iesha Carmichael of Sanford NC, Tonisha Carmichael of Woodbridge, VA, Tremain Kellam of Roseboro, NC, Myesha Kellam (Shalonte Page-Anderson) of Greensboro, NC, Evonne Melvin of Siler City, NC, and Tomeka McDougald of Sanford, NC; 9 grandchildren: 1 great-grandchild: Mariah; her sisters: Consuelo Aycock (Muhammad) of Goldsboro, NC and Mildred McDonald of Atlanta, GA; her brothers: Michael Washington (Cynthia) of Atlanta GA, Gregory Washington of Central Islip Long Island, NY, Neil Washington, Sr. of Norfolk, VA, and Jeffrey Washington, Sr. (Norma) of Philadelphia, PA; and other extended family members and generations of cousins and friends.

Per the family, if in attendance during Viewing or Services, please wear a Mask or Facial Covering.

A Viewing will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at Walker Funeral Home Chapel,163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, with no more than 10 individuals at any one time.

Services will immediately follow the Viewing beginning at 1:00 PM, at Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC.  

Interment will take place after the service, at Rock Hill - Evander Walker Family Cemetery, Walker Road, Linden, NC.

Due to COVID-19, the Governor of North Carolina has asked that all gatherings be limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.
