Thelma Edwards

Ms. Thelma Edwards, 69, of Fayetteville, NC, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

She was proceeded in death by her late husband Glenwood Edwards, her eldest daughter Deana Blanford and her grandson William Keshawn. 

Thelma is survived by her son William Peterson and his children Jasmine and Terrell Peterson by her daughter in law Tawanda. Her daughter Cusheena McRae and her husband James III and their children Ashira and James IV. Deana's daughters JaMya Blanford and Lily Timothy and her husband Jerome who gave Thelma four beautiful great grand children. Thelma has four siblings, Carrie Neal (Joe), Coleman Peterson, Albert Peterson and Brenda Peterson. Her God daughter Kimberly Johnson and a host of aunts, uncles,nieces and nephews and extended family. All she loved dearly.   

A Viewing for Ms. Thelma will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.,Funeral Services following the viewing, beginning at 11:00 a.m., Fayetteville Deliverance Evangelistic Center, 517 Mt. Gilead Dr. Fayetteville, N.C. 28314.

Interment will follow immediately after service in Cumberland Garden Memorial Cemetery, 4509 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville, NC.
