Theodore "Ted" Franklin McLean

San Francisco, CA, formally of Harnett County, NC

Theodore Franklin McLean, son of the late Harriet Eva McLean and Johnny George was born on April 27,1933. He departed this earthly life on April 19, 2019 in San Francisco, CA. He attended school in the Harnett County School System. Ted served in the United States Army from September 1958 to December 4, 1963. After his military career he worked for Civil Service Government for many years in numerous countries.

In addition to his parents, one daughter, Lynda G. Bass preceded him in death,

Theodore , affectionately known as “Ted”, was full of life and love. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He endured life full of grace and strength. 

He leaves to cherish his memories; wife; Nina R. McLean, of Hampton, VA, sons; Eddie L McLean, of Hampton, VA and Theodore P. (Alice) McLean, of Dunn, NC, daughter; Barbara Burgess, of Hampton, VA, son in law; Gerald Bass, of Bunnlevel, NC, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of relatives and many friends.

A Memorial service will be held for Mr. Theodore on Saturday, June 22, 2019, beginning at 4:00 pm. at the Chapel of Walker Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 163 Irene Roberts Rd, Lillington, NC.
