William "Tuck" Mercell Tucker

Mr. William " Tuck' Tucker, 87, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, surrounding by his love ones.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home located at : 191 Bethea Rd, Lillington, NC.

His legacy will be remembered by his wife, Mattie Bell Tucker, of the home, his children: Calvin (Evelyn) Tucker, of Olivia, NC, Cathy Joe Tucker and Janet Tucker, both of Lillington, NC, Pansy (Levon) Ockletree, of Durham, NC, Morris “ Boy” Tucker, of Charlotte, NC, Sarah William, niece whom he helped raised, grandchildren; Tamara Dillard, Minster Vincent (Betty) King, Minister Yvonne (Artis) McDougald, Yolanda Tucker, Marquita Ockletree, Myesha (Twan) Ockletree-Morris, Prentiss Ockletree,Gabriell Tucker, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson, sister in laws, Louise Tucker, of  Fayetteville, NC and Lula (Bennie) Rigdell,of  Lillington, NC and a host of nephews and nieces, special friend,Sam Blue.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (family will be present at 7:00 p.m.).

A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.,Funeral Services following the viewing beginning at 2:00 p.m., Lillington Star FWB Church, 183 Bailey Way Rd, Lillington, NC.

Interment will take place immediately after service in Layfatte Memorial Park and Mausoleum, 2301 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC
