William “Yoke” Burrus

We celebrate the life and mourn the passing of a beloved man, Mr. William ‘Yoke’ Burrus, who left us at the age of 86, leaving behind a legacy of strength and love.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home (between the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily) located at 817 N. 14th Street, Erwin, NC.

Viewing will be held will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.,Celebration of Life will follow the viewing beginning at 1:00 p.m., Oak Grove AME Zion Church, 3920 Bunnlevel Rd. Erwin, NC 28339.

Interment will take place immediately following the service in Riverside Community Cemetery, Erwin, NC.
