Yoashica "Yummy" Johnson-McKeithan

Mrs. Yoashica “Yummy” Johnson- McKeithan , 48, of Linden, NC, took her eternal rest on Saturday, June 21,2025. 

Extended family and friends are being received at the home of her mother, Ms. Rita Clayton, at located 270 Nutgrass Road, Bunnlevel, NC. 

Yummy was predeceased by her sister, Tiffany Clayton. Maternal grandparents, Pearl and Walter Johnson, Jr. Paternal grandfather, William H. Marks and aunt, Sheron D. Marks. 

Yoashica is survived by her loving husband, James Mckeithan; son, Rae’Quan Johnson (Ashley). One grandchild, Camilla Johnson; mother, Rita Clayton and father Pastor Scott Marks (Jill); Mother-in-law, Grace Mckeithan; stepchildren, Cesely Mckeithan, Yolanda Campbell, Brandon Jenkins and Mary Mckeithan; paternal grandmother, Pastor Betty L. Marks; seven sisters, Montreal Johnson-Godley (Derrick), Windy Clayton, Scotticesa Miller (Eric), Capria Burkett-Thompson (Brian), Arelize Marks, Jacqueline Marks and Alexandra Marks; two brothers, Wayne Clayton (Jasmine) and Scottie Marks (Melissa); sister-in-laws, Grace, Genova and Jackie Mckeithan; brother-in-laws, Anthony and David Mckeithan; goddaughter, Sacari Wynn; two bonus cousins/sister, Shawanda Fisher, Lakela Bell-McLean and the Sister Circle. Countless other relatives and friends who became family, and all those whose lives she touched so deeply. 

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Celebration of Life will follow the Viewing beginning at 2:00 p.m.,Cape Fear Conference “ A” Headquarters, 25 Beaver Rd, Erwin, NC.

Interment will follow immediately after service in Wesley Chapel AME Zion Church Cemetery, Lillington, NC.
