Ms. Zelma Mitchell, 88, of 357 Raynor -McLamb Rd, Bunnlevel, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Betsy Johnson Hospital, Dunn, NC.

Extended family and friends are being received at the home. You are REQUIRED to wear a Mask or Facial Covering. 

Enduring love and fond memories remain with her sons John Thomas Mitchell (Gwendolyn) of the home, Marcus Harris, of Bunnlevel, Rashine Mitchell, of Philadelphia; the Mitchell grandchildren Jamel (Crystal), Jaron, Rayvine, Jahniqua and Jayla; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother Eugene (Joyce) Murchison, Broadview, IL; one sister Gladys Murchison Stone, Sanford, NC; brother-in-law Willie (Doris) Mitchell, Fayetteville, NC; sister-in-law Kathleen Brassell, Bunnlevel; one paternal Aunt FloLee McDougald, Lillington, NC and a phenomenal array of nieces and nephews (great and so on), cousins, and friends 

A Visitation well be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. ,with no more than 10 individuals at any one time. Services will immediately follow the Visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m., Walker Funeral Home Chapel, 163 Irene Roberts Road, Lillington, NC. Due to COVID-19, all gatherings are being limited to no more than 50 people including staff and all attendees such as clergy, ushers, musicians etc.

Interment will take place immediately  after service Anderson Creek Christian Cemetery, 1680 Will Lucas Road, Linden NC
